So, I’m writing an essay about flight travels and times, based on the book, Breaking Dawn, from the Twilight Saga, and I’ve found the time between Seattle and Houston, now I need Houston and Rio de Janeiro, does anyone know any thing that could help or do actually know the time it takes to get from Houston, Texas, USA to Rio de Janeiro by plane?
Thanks, Lucy x
I will be living in Rio de Janeiro for the month of August and I want to fully enjoy the cultural life while I’m here. What I’m looking for are tips on where I can find recommendations for events, concerts, art openings, movie screenings, etc. I’m particularly interested in non-mainstream events, i.e. not huge (and expensive) concerts or festivals. Any websites or magazines I should pay attention to? I speak Portuguese, so that’s not a problem.
I will be traveling to Rio de Janeiro either july or august for a month. I would like to find a place where i can rent. I’d like it to be on a good location, but also not that expensive (less than 00). By place I mean my own private place where i can bring guests.
I’m thinking of taking a bus from Sao Paulo to Rio, which are the best bus companies? how far are the bus terminals from the GRU airport? how much would it cost a taxi to the terminal? how much is it the bus ticket from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro?
A travel company suggested that I take a plane from Sao Paulo to Rio, since the cost of the plane ticket (round trip) is pretty much the same as the bus fare…is it true?
Sorry, I know there are too many questions….I just know nothing about this country I’m so excited to visit.

Hello. My friend and I are traveling throughout Brazil this July and will be in Rio De Janeiro for a little over a week. Last year my friends and I were in Hawaii and we found that renting mopeds for as little as USD a day was a great means of transportation around the city. We were hoping the same could be said for Rio. Are mopeds used as common means of transportation and if so are they easy for tourists to rent. If yes, can anyone suggest where we should rent them? Thank you!
I am going for a total of 16 days, all hotels are booked, I just need it for food, souveneirs etc. I am wondering how much I will need daily, or how much in total. I am travelling to Rio de Janeiro thru Iguassu Falls and ending in Buenos Aires. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!
Which part of Gondwana supercontinent, could we find the Rio de Janeiro city? As part of Angola or Namibia?
